Through both education and experience, Saheli gained an appreciation of the disproportionate impact of the law and the Canadian legal system on marginalized groups. Saheli's involvement in community organizing and mutual aid efforts since early 2020 has led them to seek out opportunities to use their advocacy skills to support their community directly.

Today, Saheli is a litigator at a law firm in Vancouver. Their work focuses on professional disciplinary proceedings and general civil, commercial, and administrative litigation. Saheli is grateful for the opportunity to serve on Pivot's board.
