Director at Large
Katharine Hennebery
Pronouns: she/her/hers
— Katharine is originally from Mayne Island, B.C., part of the traditional and unceded territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations, specifically the Tsartlip, Tseycum, and Tsawout bands. She attended law school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and returned to Vancouver to begin practising in 2014. She has gratefully lived and worked on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations since then.
In her current practice, Katharine focuses on personal injury law, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and physical and sexual assault claims. She is passionate about her work, and the nature of her practice allows access to justice to those who may not otherwise be able to afford legal services. In the past, Katharine has also worked in family law, and corporate/commercial litigation.
In her spare time, Katharine can usually be found on Mayne Island, spending time with family, and her rescue dog Monty.
