Vancouver, B.C. [December 2]—On Thursday, December 3, sex workers and allied organizations will release “Know Your Rights” cards ahead of the one-year anniversary of federal laws criminalizing their work.

Using the law as a catalyst for positive social change, Pivot Legal Society works to improve the lives of marginalized communities.
The Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act (Bill C-36) became law on December 6, 2014. The cards will be distributed to sex workers in Vancouver and across Canada.
