Ending the criminalization of homelessness

Cities across Canada engage in ticketing, harassment, and displacement tactics that marginalize people experiencing homelessness simply for engaging in acts of basic survival such as sleeping or setting up a tent in a park. This criminalization puts their lives at risk, dispersing them to less safe, more isolated places and leaving them with few or no options for a place to lay down their head. We’re working with our clients to end this criminalization and protect their right to safe shelter.
